Showcasing the state of the art of mining in Chile within the context of increased environmental demands and new technologies is one of the objectives of Cesco Week, which held its 26th edition this year in Santiago.
Cesco is the Copper Study Center, and annually organizes events to bring together mining professionals.
This year, the event featured various forums and sustainability seminars, in which ME Elecmetal participated.
Disseminate ME Elecmetal's Sustainability Strategy and the initiatives implemented to achieve the proposed environmental objectives and goals.
Iván Flores, South America Commercial Manager of ME Elecmetal, participated in the panel “Gaps in the Mining Industry in Incorporating the Circular Economy.” The session included Collahuasi, Metso, and Antofagasta Mineral, with each organization presenting a circularity case.
Present the various environmental initiatives that ME Elecmetal is developing, aligned with the interests and efforts of the different mining companies operating in the country.
