Operation
- The C-GAP sensor is placed in the crusher, and when compressed, it measures the increase in air pressure inside the system.
- This pressure is transmitted through a hose to a handheld device, which converts the pressure reading into a linear CSS measurement in millimeters.
- This method provides an accurate reading of the minimum crusher opening (CSS) without exposing personnel to hazardous environments.
