Closer to our customers. Closer to the Canadian mining industry.

ME Elecmetal is pleased to announce the opening of its new Canadian headquarters in downtown Toronto, marking another important step in the company’s continued growth and commitment to the Canadian mining industry.

Located in the heart of one of Canada’s most important mining and business communities, the new office provides a collaborative workspace for employees, a welcoming meeting space for customers, and a central hub for strengthening relationships across the Canadian mining industry.

More than a new workplace, the Toronto office reflects a clear commitment from ME Elecmetal: to be closer to our customers, better understand their challenges, and work alongside them to create value for their operations.

Strengthening relationships with our customers

Mining is built on long-term relationships, technical understanding, and close collaboration.

The Toronto office provides ME Elecmetal with a permanent location where our Canadian team can meet with customers, discuss their operational priorities, and work together to identify solutions that respond to the specific needs of each operation.

Being closer creates more opportunities for direct interaction between customers and our commercial and technical teams, helping us better understand operating conditions, performance requirements, upcoming projects, and opportunities for improvement.

For ME Elecmetal, customer proximity is an essential part of how we work: listening to our customers, understanding their challenges, and developing solutions together.

Solutions for mining operations

ME Elecmetal works alongside mining customers with a broad portfolio of solutions for critical mineral processing applications.

Our offering includes:

  • Grinding solutions, including grinding media and solutions designed to support grinding performance and efficiency.

  • Mill liner solutions, including steel and multimaterial liners, supported by engineering, design, simulation, and performance optimization.

  • Crushing solutions, including crusher wear parts and spare parts focused on equipment performance, reliability, and availability.

  • Engineering and technical services, supporting customers through design, simulation, technical analysis, field service, and continuous optimization.

  • Digital solutions, using data, advanced analytics, and digital technologies to provide greater visibility into operating conditions and support better operational decisions.

  • ME FIT services, bringing together products, engineering, technical expertise, and services to address specific operating challenges and help customers improve performance and total cost of ownership.

This approach allows our teams to look beyond individual products and work with customers around the performance of their operations — identifying challenges, developing solutions, measuring results, and continuously looking for opportunities to improve.

A space designed for collaboration

The Toronto office has been designed to accommodate ME Elecmetal’s growing team in Ontario while providing a space where employees, customers, and partners can come together.

The new location offers flexible workspaces, meeting facilities, convenient transit access, and an environment designed to encourage collaboration, creativity, and knowledge sharing.

The office will be led by Dominic Chan, Director of Canadian Sales. With extensive experience in the Canadian mining sector and strong ties within the Toronto mining community, Dominic played a key role in selecting a location that supports both employee flexibility and closer customer engagement.

“The intention is to foster greater flexibility and creativity in our workday, and to encourage our people to bring innovation to the workplace. When we take care of our people, we find our team is better able to meet Canadian mining project goals from a social, environmental, and financial perspective.”

Closer collaboration. Better understanding.

The opening of the Toronto headquarters strengthens ME Elecmetal’s ability to maintain closer and more frequent contact with customers across Canada.

It creates more opportunities for face-to-face conversations, technical discussions, project collaboration, and knowledge sharing — allowing our teams to develop a deeper understanding of what customers need from us.

As mining operations continue to pursue improvements in productivity, reliability, safety, and sustainability, strong collaboration between customers and suppliers is increasingly important.

Our presence in Toronto will help us deepen those relationships and continue working alongside Canadian mining companies to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and improve performance.

Closer to our customers. Focused on their challenges. Working together to improve mining performance.

Investing in our people

The new headquarters also reflects ME Elecmetal’s commitment to its people.

The Toronto office provides an environment designed to encourage collaboration, flexibility, creativity, and interaction, while maintaining the hybrid working arrangements that support ME Elecmetal employees across Canada.

By creating opportunities for our people to connect with each other and interact more closely with customers, the office will help strengthen the relationships and exchange of knowledge that are fundamental to how ME Elecmetal works.
