Operation
ImpactFinder® uses two industrial microphones, one on the feed end side, where impacts are counted and classified, and another on the shoulder side, which estimates the fill level. Both signals are connected to the IF electronics for signal processing and sent to the DCS via industrial communication Ethernet/IP, Profibus DP, Modbus TCP, etc. The IF electronics is also connected via Ethernet/IP to the computer with the system’s proprietary Advanced Visualization HMI.
