Establish a permanent dialogue between ME Elecmetal and its neighbors or nearby communities to enable the operational continuity of the plant or collection and distribution center.
A set of activities has been defined with neighbors and communities, focusing on the manner, that is, a dialoguing, close relationship with open communication channels to address any comments or suggestions regarding the operation.
To this end, some of the actions carried out are:
- Support to JJ VV: contribution to the financing of a recreational trip for the populations Diego Portales, Irene Frei, and Villa las Rosas, as well as contributions to other JJ VV for various neighborhood activities.
- Social aid: support to different corporations, such as the Social Development Corporation of the Christian Youth Association: delivery of school supply kits and backpacks to children and adolescents of the Corporation and visits of students belonging to the program to the ME Elecmetal plant in Rancagua; and Corporación Esperanza: monetary donation to Corporación la Esperanza, Rancagua center.
- Health: donation of meaningful toys to children at the Regional Hospital of Antofagasta, from the NANEAS program (children and adolescents with special health care needs).
- Training: cooperation with SENCE, local municipality, and SEREMI of Labor O´Higgins to develop training courses for users of the Cardenal Caro province.
- Sports: sponsorship of Team Zorrobike mountain bike race in the city of Calama.
- Volunteering: Christmas party for children at Campamento Familia Unida and party at the Rincón de los Sueños Kindergarten and Nursery in Rancagua.
- Parishes: delivery of 570 boxes of groceries to the Cristo Rey, San Francisco, San José de Requínoa, and Punta de Cortés Parishes, as well as a monetary donation to San Francisco de Rancagua for the demolition of its atrium.
- Casa del Arte: sponsors of the Open-Air Theater January 2023, Rancagua

Material engagement through different initiatives across ME Elecmetal’s various operations in Chile.
The municipalities, community offices of the communes, and regional services in the regions where ME Elecmetal’s plants or collection/distribution centers operate: Rancagua, Antofagasta, and Calama.
