Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role in the company?
I was born in Shanghai, China, and graduated in Economics from Shanghai University in 2003. I specialized in International Trade and have developed extensive hands-on experience across the logistics cycle, from import to export.
I joined the company in 2012 as an Export Administration Specialist and, since then, I have supported the Grinding Media team for more than 14 years. Thanks to consistently fulfilling my responsibilities and strong performance over the years, in 2017 I was promoted to Supervisor of the Grinding Media team.
During this time I have witnessed the growth of our export business: dispatch volumes have steadily increased while our overseas market coverage and global client base have continued to expand.
Currently, as Export Administration Supervisor, I lead the Export Administration function and contribute to the development of our international operations.
In my free time I love to travel, discover new and good food, cook at home, grow plants and care for animals (I have two cats and a dog). These hobbies enrich my daily life and foster my patience and a positive outlook.
What attracted you to ME Elecmetal?
When I joined the company, our Grinding Media team was just being formed. I am based in Shanghai, China, close to our joint venture in Changzhou, and the export-oriented nature of the business fitted very well with my prior experience. Both the grinding media sector and the company's established international development were what appealed to me most about the role: I saw in the company a platform and opportunity to continue my professional development and to grow together with the business.

We have been serving customers in more than 40 countries for years, which has allowed us to deliver a localized service backed by global experience. All of this while ensuring consistent service quality, efficient response and reliable performance across the regions where we operate.
To achieve this, effective collaboration between teams has been fundamental and indispensable in our daily work, with my colleagues and supervisors. A collaborative mindset that drives our sustainable development together with our partners and globally.

Today we are recognized as a global leader in the forged special steel grinding media sector. Personal anecdotes about teamwork, achievements or company events
After the 2019 pandemic, I experienced health issues. Colleagues from different regions showed me a great deal of understanding and supported me at work, and company management approved that I work from home, which allowed me to recover and return to normality. My managers and colleagues have always supported me with genuine care. For me ME Elecmetal is, without a doubt, a workplace community that cares for its people and includes everyone, and that is why I hope to continue contributing another decade of service to the company.
How does your team help solve challenges in the mining industry?
Logistics is the critical bridge that connects all links in the supply chain: it integrates sourcing, production, storage and distribution to ensure an efficient and orderly flow of materials, thereby ensuring business continuity. Precise scheduling is at the heart of logistics management, and our team ensures that our daily, monthly and annual operations always meet the delivery commitments we have made.
What excites you most about the future of ME Elecmetal?
We have seen the company's solid growth over the last decade, and we anticipate that this development will remain stable and predictable in the years to come. Established collaborative partnerships, a solid organizational structure, evolving technologies, together with the sustained long-term demand from the global mining industry and a philosophy focused on sustainable development, will allow ME Elecmetal to project its legacy into the next century.
