Beyond Our Talents: Patrick Frazier, Director of Organizational Development at ME Elecmetal North America — “A Place Where Industry and Human Development Truly Intertwine.”

Can you introduce yourself and your role in the company?

I’m Patrick Frazier, Director of Organizational Development at ME Elecmetal North America. I joined the company in 2017 at the Tempe Foundry, and since then, my role has grown to support and develop our entire North American workforce—while also collaborating on global initiatives that strengthen our shared culture. My main mission is to make sure our teams have the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to grow, develop, and perform at their best in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.

What attracted you to ME Elecmetal?

I was born in a small manufacturing town in Illinois, where life revolved around the local steel mill. Although I was too young to work there, I grew up watching how my family’s sense of community and purpose was forged in that place. That experience shaped me deeply and inspired me to seek purpose-driven organizations where people and progress go hand in hand.

When I discovered ME Elecmetal, I was drawn to the opportunity to be part of a global company with real, tangible impact—while still staying connected to people and supporting them in their day-to-day work. Here, I found a place where industry and human development truly intertwine.

How would you describe the culture at ME Elecmetal?

At ME Elecmetal, people are not treated as numbers. The company promotes respect for the dignity and individuality of every employee. From my first day, I was trusted and empowered—invited to take part in decision-making processes and encouraged to propose improvements that enhance the employee experience. That openness and collaboration reflect the culture of closeness that truly defines the company.

I also value the strong global spirit that characterizes ME Elecmetal. Through initiatives like the Outstanding Employees program, I’ve had the opportunity to connect teams from North America, South America, China, and South Africa. These experiences have shown me that, while we come from different cultures and backgrounds, we share the same purpose: to foster healthy workplaces and deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions for the mining industry.

What benefits do you value the most about working here?

One of the most meaningful benefits is the company’s culture of balance between work and personal life. As a father of two, I’ve always felt supported to be present for important moments with my family. That kind of flexibility isn’t something you find everywhere—and here, it truly makes a difference. The trust we’re given translates into stronger commitment: when you know your personal time is respected, you’re more engaged, focused, and motivated to do your best work.

Personal anecdotes about teamwork, achievements, or company events:

I’ve had the privilege of guiding development processes that have helped people realize their potential. Some of the most meaningful moments in my career have been watching employees take on new challenges and succeed, often sooner than expected—thanks to thoughtful development plans and supportive leadership. Seeing someone grow, gain confidence, and reach new milestones is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

I also deeply value my participation in the Outstanding Employees program, which gave me the opportunity to connect with colleagues from different regions and collaborate on projects that now benefit the entire organization. Programs like this strengthen our sense of belonging and highlight what makes ME Elecmetal unique—our truly global talent, united by shared purpose and commitment.

“ME Elecmetal brings together the best of both worlds: the strength of a global company and the closeness of an organization that values human relationships built on respect and integrity.”
